*****IRON ON INSTRUCTIONS*******
The patch has a heat sealed backing which allows you to simply iron the patch onto a garment, cap, etc. FOR PERMANENT PLACEMENT, SEW THE PATCH ONTO THE GARMENT.
1. Preheat iron to medium heat. NO STEAM.
2. Place the patch in position, the adhesive side should be flat against the fabric.
3. Place your item on a flat, heat-resistant surface like an ironing board. Ensure the item is flat providing a good surface for the patch; you may want to iron the item first just to warm it up.
4. Choose the desired placement for the patch and place on garment. Use a cloth or towel to cover the patch so you don’t burn it when applying heat. Press and hold iron for 8 seconds on patch until patch is bonded.Repeat steps on the opposite side of garment where the patch is located.
5. Remove the iron and allow the patch to cool.
6. Check to see if the patch is securely affixed to the garment, if not, place the towel back over the garment and press the iron-on again for another 10 seconds.
Ironed on patches usually will remain attached through normal wash and wear, however, a few hand stitches or fabric glue around the edges will ensure a longer attachment life.
